It was such a pleasure meeting and talking with you today, Brien. I’ve turned the light out twice, but my mind won’t stop! I just now found and re-posted the wonderful work of Cassie that you mentioned earlier today. She has provided a great service, and I was proud to post her blog to my readers as well. I have over 3,000 followers. I hope her blog, and your artist in residence program, feel a groundswell.

David, I will say this, we could not have found a better person to be our first Artist in Residence. As I just posted to our website on your page, “As many who have come before him, we feel that we have made a friend for life. Welcome to the family David.”

Brien, I don’t believe I could have awakened to a better word than the one you delivered last night, thank you. I have felt very welcomed by everyone I’ve met associated with this program. I can’t express how happy I’ve been, and how much I look forward to working with all of you.
