The Work Continues

None of my plein air watercolors from last week on location exceeded 12″ in any direction. Now that I am home in the studio, I have begun a 14 x 18″ composition. This will be my first attempt to include the field  station in my work.  It’s clouding up dark in Arlington and I’ve lost my natural light, so I’ll have to stop for the night.

Thanks for reading.

I paint in order to remember.
I journal when I feel alone.
I blog to remind myself that I am not alone.

I was working on skies almost all day. This one is gorgeous. Do you negatively paint the clouds, lift them out, none of the above?

Enjoying the work from your trip!
