Painting on the Fourth of July

The holidays are precious times when spent with loved ones. Some very special friends invited me to relax over the holiday in east Texas. I brought my watercolor supplies along, and spontaneously a paint-out transpired on the back veranda–more than a half-dozen friends painting at their hearts’ content.

I took the opportunity to begin my 4th attempt at painting the Mermaid’s Winecup. It’s been a beautiful, relaxing holiday.
