Day two of the South Street Festival is amazing. As I write this, Texas Flood (a Stevie Ray Vaughn tribute band) is tearing up the crowd, and I’m sketching in watercolor a collection of trees and lamppost across the street from my booth, as I listen to the live music and interact with patrons drifting in and out of my booth.

It was wonderful seeing you too, Elaine. I wonder if I should color swatch along with the journal?! I only did that because I forgot to bring a cloth for blotting.
