Closing out my One-Man-Show

image

I just wanted to toss a couple of drawings from this morning onto the blog. This kind of activity relaxes me while tutors work with my A.V.I.D. students in groups and I position myself in the midst of the room so I can hear the tutorial dialogues of four separate groups converging in the midst of the room. Though people don’t realize it, I hear the conversations much more clearly when I am staring into a developing drawing. I don’t have to tune out noise, as I frequently at home play YouTube lectures given at art museums whle I’m working in watercolor.

My one-man-show closes tomorrow at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. I was pleased early this morning, while surfing the Internet, to find yet another announcement for the show, and I’ve posted the link:

Thanks for reading.

I make art in order to concentrate.

I journal when I feel alone.

I blog to remind myself that I am not alone.
