Engaged in the Studio Once Again

I just wanted to send this quick blog up the flagpole today, using my phone in the absence of Wi-fii where I am currently ensconced. Vacation is officially over, and workdays now consist of college prepping in the mornings and commission work in the afternoons.

The luxury I enjoy with this current piece (historic Santa Fe depot in Fort Worth) consists in the lack of a hurried deadline. The patron said late fall was OK, and I’m certain it will be completed this month, perhaps even in a week. When I get to certain junctures where I am uncertain, I can pause and study the situation, rather than hurry and mess something up.

I am now enjoying the creative process at its best.

Thanks for reading.
